With all the Christmas advertising and commercialism is easy to get consumed with wanting stuff. I enjoyed this post reminding me life is not about the stuff we have.

I am planning to try one or two of these holiday snack crafts with my kids. I wouldn't consider all of them healthy but I am working on getting my kids to "play" with food in hopes of improving some of our pickiness.

"...the pursuit of weight loss rarely produces the thin, happy life your dream off..." This article is titled, "You Don't Have to Be Thin to Be Healthy". I totally agree! That is another reason to invest in the workshops I offer. They are not about weight loss for the sake of thinness, they address total body healthy for the benefit of the whole person!

With all the sweets and treats available this time of year. I'm finding myself needing to re-adjust my sugar intake. It's easy to fall back into old habits. Added sugars are addictive and unhealthy. Honey, agave, etc are still added sugars and should be limited. Read more here.
